Prosper Ogum switches attention to Legon Cities clash after Holy Stars draw

By Lukman MUMIN, Accra

Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has accepted his team’s goalless draw against newcomers Basake Holy Stars in match week eight of the Ghana Premier League.

However, Ogum stated that the draw was not the result he expected but will now shift his focus to their next game against Legon Cities in midweek, which is an outstanding match.

The game will be played on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at the University of Ghana Stadium.

“It’s not the result we expected, but that’s what we have. We just have to make do with it and focus on our next game. It’s all about composure in front of goal,” Ogum said after the 1-1 draw against Holy Stars.

“Once we get the composure in front of goal, which is made up of confidence, picking the right spot, applying the right technique, and applying the right power behind the ball, I’m sure we’ll be good to go.”

Following the draw, the Porcupine Warriors remain second on the Ghana Premier League table with 15 points.

The draw leaves Kotoko three points behind league leaders Bibiani GoldStars, who secured a stunning victory over Hearts of Oak.
