By Lukman MUMIN, Accra
The Black Sharks if Ghana will face Mozambican counterparts in a classification match for fifth place at the 2024 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations in Hurghada, Egypt. Following a disappointing group stage display, the Black Sharks still have an opportunity to end their tournament on a high note after being knocked out of semi-final contention.
Forward Alexander Adjei has been a standout performer, leading the tournament’s scoring charts with eight goals in three matches, showcasing his exceptional talent.
Meanwhile, Ghana showed promise after crashing Tanzania 10-3 but it was too late for the Black Sharks to advance.
However, the team aims to improve as they take on a tough Mozambique side, who finished third in Group B.
Both teams are eager to finish strong, making Thursday’s 1:30 PM local time (10:30 GMT) kickoff an exciting contest.
The Black Sharks are hopeful of securing a victory and ending the tournament with pride. Fans are encouraged to support the team as they battle for a respectable fifth-place finish.
