GIPC extends application deadline for 21st Ghana Club 100 Awards

The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has announced an extension of the application deadline for the 21st edition of the Ghana Club 100 (GC100) Awards, providing eligible companies more time to submit their entries. The new deadline is set for October 11, 2024.
According to GIPC’s CEO, Mr. Yofi Grant, the extension offers businesses another chance to apply and potentially be ranked among the top 100 firms in Ghana. He emphasized that eligible companies must be limited liability entities.
However, firms with government ownership are allowed to participate, provided the government’s stake is below 50%, unless they are listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange.
Mr. Grant encouraged businesses vying for a spot in the prestigious rankings to submit their applications through the GIPC website. He further announced that the GC100 awards ceremony, initially scheduled for an earlier date, has now been moved to October 25, 2024, and will take place at The Palms, La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra. The 21st edition of the awards will maintain its traditional format, featuring executive networking sessions, an official awards ceremony, and post-event celebrations. The GC100 Awards remain a prominent platform recognizing excellence in business performance and contributing to Ghana’s economic growth.
