The Black Satellites of Ghana have been handed a tough group ahead of the WAFU Zone B U20 Championship.
Ghana will face host Togo in their opening game before engaging Niger and Benin in subsequent matches in Group A.
The Black Satellites will be hoping to make a return to the Africa U20 Championship by finishing in the top two of the qualifying competition.
The former world champions have not qualified for the tournament since winning the competition in Mauritania in 2021.
Meanwhile, in Group B, Nigeria are joined by Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast.
The Black Satellites have been preparing for the championship since winning the African Games in March.
The team went to Europe for a mini tour as part of preparations before facing Legon Cities and SMAC in friendlies at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence.
The WAFU Zone B championship begins on October 17 and ends on October 31, 2024.
