Black Princesses arrive in Bogota for FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup

The Black Princesses, Ghana’s female U20 national team, have arrived in Colombia ahead of the 2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.
The team led by coaches and management members landed in Bogota on Wednesday evening, and were warmly welcomed by officials at the El Dorado International Airport.
Ghana becomes the first team apart from the host to arrive for the tournament which begins on August 31, 2024.
The team will engage in a couple of international friendly matches before the tournament officially kicks start.
The Black Princesses will open their campaign against Austria on September 2 before taking on Japan and New Zealand in the other Group E matches. The West African nation is making a seventh successive appearance at the global showpiece but has yet to advance beyond the group stage.
