Team Eternity Ghana announces death of member

Ghanaian gospel music collective, Team Eternity Ghana, has announced the heartbreaking loss of one of its lead singers, Nhyira Marfo, who passed away on August 7, 2024.
In a statement, the group expressed their deep sorrow and grief at the sudden passing of their beloved friend and sister.
“On Wednesday, 7th August, 2024, we received news of the sudden passing of our friend and sister, Nhyira Marfo. Grief-stricken and heartbroken as we are, yet we turn to the Lord from Whom all comfort flows. We trust in Him Who knows the end from the beginning and take refuge in his promise that, ‘…surely I am with you always, to the very end of age.’” (Matthew 28:20), the statement read.
Nhyira Marfo was a prominent figure in the gospel music scene, known for her powerful voice and heartfelt performances.
As one of the lead singers of Team Eternity Ghana, she played a significant role in the group’s mission to spread the message of faith and hope through music.
The group is dedicated to evangelizing through soul-stirring lyrics and transformative melodies, aiming to uplift spirits, nurture spiritual growth, and inspire a profound commitment to the Christian faith.
Team Eternity Ghana first captured the hearts of many with their debut album, Sound of Eternity, released in 2022.
The 14-track album features collaborations with artists like Lordina, Pastor Isaiah, and EBEN, and is a testament to the collective’s steadfast faith and devotion to God.
Their recent album, Testimony, further propelled them into the spotlight, with the hit single “Defe Defe” topping various music charts in Ghana and gaining recognition on the global stage.
Nhyira Marfo’s passing is a significant loss to the gospel music community and to all who were touched by her music and ministry. Team Eternity Ghana and their fans are deeply mourning her loss, while also finding solace in their faith during this difficult time.
