Newcastle United eye move for Mohammed Kudus

Mohammed Kudus has become a transfer target for Newcastle United as they consider their options for life without Anthony Gordon.
The St James’ outfit are keen on bolstering their attack and view Kudus as a potential replacement for Gordon, who is linked with a potential move to Liverpool.
The 24-year-old Ghana international made a significant impact in his debut Premier League season with West Ham United, scoring 14 goals and providing six assists.
His standout performance against Newcastle, where he scored and assisted in a thrilling 4-3 match, particularly caught their attention.
However, West Ham are unlikely to part with Kudus easily, especially after acquiring him for £38 million.
Kudus also impressed during pre-season and is focused on further establishing himself in the upcoming campaign.
“To start and announce myself, it was quite a good start for me personally [last season], but I believe I still have so much in me that I can still show to everyone. We will work on it and try to double how I performed last season and be even better going forward,” he told WHU TV. “Personally, I want to do better than I did last season with numbers and performances, but most importantly help the team get back into Europe and challenge for the top six. That’s what my personal goal is around, helping the team.”
