Joseph Paintsil headlines MLS Team of the Week after LA Galaxy win

Black Stars winger Joseph Paintsil has been named in the Major League Soccer Team of Week 28 after another swashbuckling performance for LA Galaxy.
The Ghana international enjoyed a good week after scoring and delivering a brace of assists in LA Galaxy’s 3-2 victory over Portland Timbers.
The 26-year-old, who joined the MLS giants in February, served former Barcelona midfielder Ruqui Puig with the opener before finding fellow Designated Player Gabriel Pec for his side’s second.
He then netted the decisive goal on the hour mark to send LA Galaxy to the top of the table in the Western Conference.
Meanwhile, he is joined by former Barcelona defender Jordi Alba, who plays for Inter Miami, Toronto’s Richie Laryea, and Iuri Tavares of Charlotte FC in the Team of the Week.
Other players making the squad are Daniel Gazdag of Philadelphia Union, Cole Bassett of Colorado Rapids, Atlanta’s Stian Gregersen, Griffin Dorsey of Houston, and goalkeeper Roman Burki as well as Dennis Bouanga of LAFC.
