Keche praise King Paluta for his feature on their latest hit song

Award-winning Hiplife music duo Keche has praised Hiplife star Thomas Adjei Wireko, better known as King Paluta, for his feature on their latest hit song, “My Father.”

Released less than a week ago, the song has already garnered over 10,000 streams on various platforms.

Keche commended King Paluta for his swift response to their feature request, noting, “Big shoutout to King Paluta, he made it look so easy. We sent the song to him and he responded within two days, even though we’ve never met in the studio. He wasn’t even in Ghana, but he did it wholeheartedly, unlike others who feel like they’re too superior.”

Keche, consisting of Joshua Kojo Ampah and Andrew Kofi Cudjoe, formed in 2004 and rose to fame with their debut album “Pressure.” The duo has remained steadfast in the music scene for 15 years. They attribute their longevity to mutual understanding and respect. “It’s understanding and respect for the company – for the brand Keche,” they explained.

“We are from different backgrounds and have different ideologies, so there will be misunderstandings. We are in Africa and have heard of Psquare, who are even twins but had issues and broke up. So, it is very possible for us to also have misunderstandings.”

Andrew shared that there are times they perform on stage without speaking to each other, but they pretend all is well to maintain the image of the brand and make their money.

Joshua also credited part of their success to the media, emphasizing that despite their disagreements, their mutual respect has enabled them to thrive for over a decade in the music industry.

Keche is currently promoting their single “My Father,” featuring “Aseda” hitmaker King Paluta, which is gaining significant attention on streaming platforms and the airwaves.
