King Paluta spotted with Bawumia singing ‘Aseda’ in a bus

The 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Award’s (TGMA) New Artiste of the Year, King Paluta, recently made headlines when he was spotted singing an acapella version of his hit song “Aseda” with Vice-President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and other notable figures.
The impromptu performance took place during the climax of Dr. Bawumia’s Ashanti Regional tour.
The Vice-President, visibly excited, joined in enthusiastically, throwing his hands in the air to the tune. Alongside him were Dome Kwabenya MP Adwoa Safo, Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei-Mensah, and New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ashanti Regional Chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi. Chairman Wontumi was seen nodding and singing along, while MP Adwoa Safo added a few dance moves to the lively performance.
This musical moment occurred a day after Dr. Bawumia was seen dancing at his Youth Connect event, which marked the conclusion of his regional tour.
During Wednesday’s event, he was joined by musician Guru, who performed his popular song “Lapaz Toyota” to the delight of the crowd. Vice President Dr. Bawumia also participated, performing the signature dance of the song.
These vibrant performances have sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many expressing their surprise and excitement over the Vice-President’s musical engagement with the public.
The events underscored Dr. Bawumia’s connection with the youth and his efforts to engage with various cultural facets during his tour.
