GFA announces change in dates for some selected Matchday 28 fixtures

The Ghana Football Association has confirmed a change in dates for selected matchday 28 fixtures in the Ghana Premier League.
All fixtures originally scheduled for Sunday, April 28, have been rescheduled to ensure maximum support for Dreams FC, who will face Egyptian giants Zamalek in the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup semifinal at the Baba Yara Stadium on the same day.
The affected Ghana Premier League fixtures are Nsoatreman vs Bofoakwa Tano, Medeama vs Asante Kotoko, and FC Samartex vs Great Olympics.
These matches have all been moved to Monday, April 29, at 3 pm.
Additionally, Dreams FC’s league fixture against Real Tamale United has been postponed to a later date.
Karim Zito’s side achieved a notable feat by becoming the first team to prevent Zamalek from scoring at home in this season’s CAF Confederation Cup competition, securing a goalless draw in the first leg.
Zito is steadfast in asserting that his team’s game plan would have remained unchanged, regardless of whether Ahmed Mustapha Zizou had featured in the first leg against Zamalek.
“The absence of Ahmed Mustafa Zizou is not our responsibility, and our plan was clear whether Zizou played or not. The player may participate in the return match in Ghana,” he said.
Dreams FC’s John Antwi and Abdul Issah Aziz currently lead the CAF Confederation Cup in goal contributions, with Antwi having scored four goals and Aziz providing two assists.
