Pianim calls for vibrant, truthful media with integrity

Economist, Mr Kwame Pianim has charged newly launched Zed Multimedia to be driven by professionalism, balance and dynamism in its work.
Mr Pianim maintained that “the media, the fourth estate of the realm is critical for checks and balances and in any democracy, the absence of a vibrant dynamic media, committed to truth and integrity spells trouble.
The economist who was speaking on the occasion of the official launch of Zed Multimedia in Accra lamented the falling standards on the Ghanaian media landscape and the general societal decadence and prayed that “the coming of Zed Multimedia will change the narrative.”
Impressed with the ‘lifestyle, leisure and business’ tagline, the economist and elder statesman hoped and prayed that “you will follow the path you’ve taken.”
He was encouraged by the presence at the launch of Rev. Mensah Otabil and other servants of God, and requesting that the status quo continues to guarantee success.

According to Mr Pianim, the narrative that Ghanaians are clever but unreliable ought to be changed and “I hope Zed Multimedia will help us to get the narrative right and that once you and I are committed to do things the right way.”
The world had changed and technology was evolving speedily and it was imperative to be relevant and be abreast with the times.
