Serene Insurance donates GH₵20,000 worth of essentials to Greater Accra Psychiatric Hospital

Serene Insurance Company Limited has extended a helping hand to the Greater Accra Psychiatric Hospital, presenting essential items valued at GH₵20,000.
The donation, comprising food supplies and toiletries, including rice, adult diapers, toilet tissue, beans, water, oil, maize, sugar, mattresses, and soap, is intended to offer support to patients and ease the burden on the facility.
Madam Mercy Naa Koshie Boampong, the Chief Executive Officer of Serene Insurance Company Limited, underscored the significance of the donation in providing care and assistance to those in need.
She emphasized that the gesture aims to uplift the spirits of both patients and staff during the festive season, bringing warmth and joy to the hospital.
Madam Boampong expressed the hope that, through the power of music and song, they could bring comfort and a sense of belonging to the patients.
She outlined the commitment of Serene Insurance to make a positive impact on lives, not only through donations but also through initiatives like hospital refurbishments and other community-focused efforts.
The CEO stressed the moral obligation of the company to leverage its resources for positive change, stating that the donation is a testament to their belief in making lasting changes in their immediate community.
