Bofoakwa Tano sack coach Frimpong Manso

By Daniel ODURO, Accra
Ghana Premier League club Bofoakwa Tano has announced the termination of the contract of their coach, Frimpong Manso, citing poor results as the primary reason.
The newly promoted side has struggled in recent matches, securing just one win in their last five games.
Bofoakwa Tano’s decision follows the trend set by Hearts of Oak, who sacked Martin Koopman earlier this month.
The club has also dismissed assistant coach Isaac Kofi Sarfo.
Currently, Bofoakwa Tano is trailing five points behind league leaders Aduana FC, and despite being in sixth place, they believe they have the potential for a better standing.
In a statement, the club expressed gratitude to both coaches for their contributions and dedication, wishing them the best in their future endeavors.
The club’s management thanked the fans for their continued support and looks forward to exciting times ahead.
Bofoakwa Tano, making a return to the league after 16 years, is determined to chart a new technical direction to improve their performance.
The club, dissatisfied with recent results, believes they have the quality to achieve better outcomes.
The team has the opportunity to appoint a new coach before their next game, which is currently postponed.
Bofoakwa Tano’s scheduled match against Dreams FC has been delayed because Dreams FC is participating in a CAF Confederation Cup clash against Club Africain in Tunisia.
Additionally, Bofoakwa Tano is serving a temporary ban at their Sunyani Coronation Park due to crowd violence in their recent 0-0 draw against Nsoatreman FC.
This incident resulted in Nsoatreman coach Maxwell Konadu being hospitalized.
