Moliy unbothered by body shamers

Ghanaian musician Moliy has fired back at critics on social media who have repeatedly body shamed her, stating emphatically that she remains confident and unbothered by the negative commentary.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, July 9, 2025, the Afro-fusion star addressed the growing trend of online body shaming targeted at her, making it clear that such remarks do not affect her self-esteem.

“The more you try to body shame me, the more me and my fupa pull up with the sexiness,” she wrote, defiantly embracing her body and celebrating her figure despite the backlash.

Moliy, who is known for her bold style and empowering lyrics, did not hold back in calling out those behind the harsh comments. She challenged the motives of her critics, stating: “Just tell me that’s what you wanna see, ‘cause I don’t know why we’re going back and forth about this.”
