2 former MPs pass on
Two former members of Parliament have passed on to eternity.
Mr Daniel Okyem Aboagye, a former Member of Parliament for Bantama, has passed on.
He was 50.
The news of his demise was announced on Saturday, September 23, on the Facebook handle of Parliament House.
The late Okyem Aboagye served as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP for Bantama from January 7, 2017 to January 6, 2021.
Mr Kwadwo Tawiah Likpalimor, a former Member of Parliament (MP) for Kpandai, has died at the age of 63.
A statement by Parliament said Mr Likpalimor passed away after a short illness.
The late Mr Likpalimor was the National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP for Kpandai in the First, Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth Parliaments of the Fourth Republic of Ghana; that is from 7th January, 1993 to 6th January, 2013.
