At that competition, he finished fifth in the men’s 100 metres, leaving many fans disappointed. His new form in Canada shows renewed confidence and determination as he prepares for upcoming international events.
In the Ontario race, American sprinter Lance Lang finished second with a time of 10.07 seconds, while Canadian athlete Malachi Murray came third in 10.16 seconds. Amoah’s victory was decisive and highlighted his ability to compete at the highest level.
Amoah is now ranked behind Abdul Rasheed Saminu, who holds Ghana’s fastest time of 9.84 seconds, and Benjamin Azamati, who has a best of 9.90 seconds. His 9.92 seconds places him firmly among Ghana’s sprinting elite and strengthens his chances of representing the country at the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
