Believers Urged to Return to Return to God’s Original Blueprint for Love and Marriage

Founder of King’s Chariots International Ministry, Rev. Albert Osabutey, has called on believers to return to what he describes as God’s original blueprint for relationships, marriage, and life, stressing that true love can only thrive when grounded in the principles of God’s Kingdom.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on ZED Gospel Groove on ZED FM, Rev. Osabutey linked the month of February, popularly described as the month of love, to a deeper spiritual conversation about love beyond societal definitions.
“The idea of February being the month of love is a world system. But regardless of how the world defines it, we can use this season to redirect people back to God’s intention for love,” he said.
Central to his message is an acronym he calls KISS, which stands for “Kingdom, Initial, Suitable, System”. According to Rev. Osabutey, KISS represents a return to the original purpose and structure God established for mankind.
“KISS is about going back to how it all began. It is not how the world is leading us, but how God intended life, marriage, relationships, business, health, and every area of our lives to function. It’s a whole package,” he explained.
He emphasized that KISS is not limited to romantic love but applies to building families, sustaining relationships, and advancing the Kingdom of God in practical ways.
Rev. Osabutey also shared his personal testimony as an example of Kingdom-centered love. He recounted how he met his wife while serving as a youth leader, long before any form of dating or courtship.
“I simply told her, ‘I want to marry you. She thought I wasn’t serious at first. We didn’t date, we didn’t court, and she wasn’t someone I was pursuing. It was purely a conviction I had,” he said.
He explained that after informing church members and family, including his father, due process was followed, including background checks. The couple later married the following year and have now been together for 16 years.
“Marriage hasn’t been without mistakes. But we are still standing because our foundation was the Kingdom,” he admitted.
Drawing lessons from his experience, Rev. Osabutey urged believers to choose partners who genuinely understand and live by Kingdom principles rather than merely claiming faith.
“The Bible is a Kingdom language. You don’t need to know it back to back to live it, but you must understand the language of the Kingdom to flow in it,” he said.
He clarified that the biblical instruction against being unequally yoked is not merely about religious labels but about shared Kingdom citizenship.
“Find somebody in the Kingdom, not a pretender. When two people serve the same Father and desire to please the same King, marriage doesn’t become a struggle to understand each other. You already share the same foundation,” he stressed.
Rev. Osabutey concluded by noting that shared beliefs, values, and purpose are what sustain relationships over time.
“People who believe in the same Kingdom principles will endure. The Kingdom of light stays with itself, just as the kingdom of darkness does. When you choose rightly within the Kingdom, you are positioned to move forward successfully,” he said.
