Access Bank has relaunched its improved “Pick Now, Pay Later” product, introducing a fully digitised version designed to give salaried workers quicker, more convenient access to credit.

Speaking at the launch, Head of Distribution and Product capabilities at Access Bank, Michael Djaba said the upgraded platform is built to meet the changing needs of customers who increasingly demand speed, clarity and convenience in financial services.

He noted that customers often work hard to support their families yet need breathing room when unexpected expenses arise.

“Financial products only matter when they make lives easier for our customers.”

Mr. Djaba explained that while the manual model of Pick Now, Pay Later served its purpose over the years, the pace of modern life requires faster solutions. The digitised platform now reduces approval time from one or two days to just minutes.

“This new platform reflects our commitment to listening and adapting. With this digital upgrade, customers can complete their loan journey with ease, move through the process with confidence and receive support without delays,” he said.

He emphasised that the revamped product is designed to support workers, families, small business owners and individuals striving to build a better future. Whether customers need building materials, appliances, furniture or mobile phones, Access Bank’s growing list of partner shops will make purchasing easier.

The bank is collaborating with several partners across the country, including Ashfoam, Get4Less, Electromart, Osmotex, TopRecord.com, MC Bukemi, West Africa Hardware & Decor Limited, Electroland, Optima Solar, Franco Trading, among others.

Mr. Djaba also noted that Access Bank aims to build a nationwide network of partnerships.

As part of the festive season offer, customers whose salaries pass through Access Bank will enjoy 0% interest for the first six months when they use the Pick Now, Pay Later service.

“Whatever you pick, you pay exactly the price on the shop floor with no interest over six months,” he explained.

He urged customers to take advantage of the opportunity to acquire essential items without long waiting periods.

He said the relaunch represents not just a technological upgrade but a renewed commitment to supporting the financial well-being of Ghanaians.

Speaking at the same event, Country Operating Officer, Ugochi Okoro said the redesign goes beyond a technological upgrade, it represents the bank’s dedication to easing everyday financial pressures for individuals, workers, families and businesses.

“We did not gather simply to unveil a digital platform. We gathered to acknowledge the people who rely on us the workers who show up every day, the partners who keep business moving, and the families who carry responsibilities that never go away,” she said.

She highlighted that the platform is designed to support customers during urgent moments, especially when purchases or financial assistance cannot wait. The enhanced service offers improved transparency, dependability and what she described as a more “humane” banking experience.
