LeBron: ‘I Felt Like Myself’ After Leading Lakers Past Sixers

LeBron James says he finally felt like himself again after delivering a vintage performance to lift the Los Angeles Lakers to a 112–108 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

The 40-year-old superstar took over in the fourth quarter, scoring 10 consecutive points to keep the Lakers in control. The performance came just a game after he assisted Rui Hachimura’s game-winning three-pointer against the Toronto Raptors.

LeBron finished the night with 29 points, six assists and seven rebounds in 34 minutes, reminding fans and critics that age has not dulled his ability to take command of big moments. His teammate Luka Dončić also produced a standout showing, recording a 31-point, 11-assist, 15-rebound triple-double.

Speaking after the win, LeBron told Sporty Net that the strong outing was a sign he is regaining rhythm following a brief stretch of inconsistency.

“At 40 years old, I mean, it just takes a while for my body to kind of get back into a rhythm, and so it felt good tonight to kind of feel like myself a little bit,” he said.

Dončić praised LeBron’s late-game heroics, describing the performance as a reminder of his long-standing greatness.

“I mean, that was amazing. That was vintage Bron. We’re happy he was there to save us,” Dončić added.

The win strengthens the Lakers’ push in the Western Conference as James continues to defy age expectations with steady leadership and clutch play.
