Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson described the agreement as a major milestone in Ghana’s economic recovery efforts, emphasizing that it will help reinforce fiscal stability and support long-term economic growth.

“This agreement represents another important step in strengthening the foundations of our fiscal framework and anchoring sustainable economic progress,” Dr. Forson said.

He expressed gratitude to the Government and people of Germany for their continued partnership and confidence in Ghana’s future, adding that the deal underscores the strong and enduring cooperation between the two nations.

“I wish to extend our sincere appreciation to the German government for its steadfast support throughout this process. This partnership continues to reflect our shared vision for mutual growth and development,” he added.

German Ambassador to Ghana, Frederik Landshöft, congratulated Dr. Forson and commended the Ghanaian government for the progress made in stabilizing the economy.

He reaffirmed Germany’s commitment to deepening its bilateral and economic cooperation with Ghana, particularly in areas that promote sustainable development and fiscal resilience.

“Germany remains a trusted partner and stands ready to continue supporting Ghana’s reform efforts toward lasting economic stability,” Ambassador Landshöft stated.
