Great Olympics to Receive 30% from Albert Amoah’s Transfer to Al Ahly Benghazi

Division One League side Great Olympics is set to receive a significant financial boost, earning 30 per cent of striker Albert Amoah’s transfer fee following his move to Libyan giants Al Ahly Benghazi.

Amoah joined Asante Kotoko from Great Olympics last season and quickly established himself as a key player in the team, emerging as one of the most consistent performers in the Ghana Premier League.

Amoah’s outstanding performances for the Porcupine Warriors earned him widespread praise from Ghana Premier League followers.

He had a breakout campaign, scoring 16 goals in 30 league appearances and impressing in the CAF Confederation Cup with two goals in four appearances.

The player’s impressive form secured him a lucrative move to Al Ahly Benghazi, with Great Olympics entitled to 30 per cent of the transfer fee as stipulated in his contract. Great Olympics boss Oluboi Commodore is urging Asante Kotoko to ensure transparency regarding the transfer fee, so the club receives its rightful share.

Amoah’s departure is a significant loss for Kotoko, who are expected to begin searching for a replacement as they continue rebuilding for the ongoing campaign. Meanwhile, Amoah’s move to Al Ahly Benghazi represents a major step in his career, joining one of Libya’s most successful clubs with regular participation in CAF inter-club competitions.
