The Black Queens booked their place at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) with a commanding 4-0 victory over Egypt’s Cleopatras at the Accra Sports Stadium, completing a 7-0 aggregate triumph.
Despite a dispute over per diems and bonuses just hours before kickoff, the team delivered a ruthless second-half performance, scoring four unanswered goals after a goalless first half.
Doris Boaduwaa stole the show with a sensational hat-trick, while defender Comfort Yeboah added the fourth goal.
The victory marks a major milestone for the team, securing consecutive WAFCON qualifications for the first time in several years.
