Fatawu Issahaku’s ‘Back Stronger’ documentary to premiere at King Power Stadium

By Victor Kwawu

Ghana forward Abdul Fatawu Issahaku is set to share his remarkable recovery journey in a new documentary, Back Stronger, which will premiere on October 29 at the Weller Lounge in England.

The Leicester City winger suffered a serious anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury while on international duty, ruling him out for the entire 2024/25 season.

His absence was a major blow to Leicester City, who struggled in the Premier League without one of their key players.

The documentary chronicles Issahaku’s path from injury to rehabilitation, including his summer spent in Ghana, where he engaged with his former club and organised a youth football tournament in Tamale.

Fans attending the premiere will have the chance to meet Issahaku and his Leicester teammates during a post-screening Q&A session.

The 21-year-old is now back in top form, scoring three goals in nine matches for Leicester City as they push for a swift return to the Premier League.

He has also returned to the Black Stars, helping Ghana secure qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
