Sarkodie thanks fellow artistes for support ahead of rapperholic concert

Ghanaian rap artiste Sarkodie has expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support he has received from fellow musicians ahead of his much-anticipated Rapperholic concert.
Speaking in an interview shared on X on 24 September 2025, Sarkodie revealed that several artistes had personally reached out to offer their assistance, despite his natural reluctance to ask for help.
“I find it difficult to call for help, but most of the artistes told me they wanted to support. For example, Shatta Wale reached out. He started with SHAXI, so all the cars I’m moving out with right now are for Shatta Wale. The ones that will convey the artistes to the event are all sponsored by him,” the artiste disclosed.
The rapper further noted that almost all the artistes who learned of the concert contacted him to be part of the event, which he described as heartwarming.
The artiste, he clarified why some big names like Stonebwoy and Black Sherif are not included in this year’s lineup.
“Most of the artistes won’t be able to come because of the timing. We can’t say we will reach out to everybody,” he explained.
Sarkodie also admitted that he usually “sweats” over song selection for Rapperholic, given the weight of expectations surrounding the flagship annual show.
