Access Bank Ghana has once again demonstrated its commitment to promoting a savings culture while rewarding customer loyalty through its flagship ‘Fa Ketewa Bɛgye Kɛseɛ’ promotion.
The Bank on Friday, 19 September, held the third and fourth mini draws of the campaign at its Head Office, with several customers walking away with exciting cash prizes and lifestyle rewards.
The ‘Fa Ketewa Bɛgye Kɛseɛ’ promo, which literally translates as ‘Small Deposits Make Big Gains,’ seeks to encourage savings among Ghanaians while creating life-changing opportunities for customers.
Speaking at the event, Katherine Ampomah, Head of SME Sectors at Access Bank, highlighted the philosophy behind the campaign:
“We are in the business of people. We understand that behind every deposit is a story, parents saving for their children’s education, young professionals planning for tomorrow, and families managing rising costs.
“This promotion is not just about prizes, but about supporting our customers through life’s challenges and ensuring that even small deposits can unlock big opportunities,” she noted.
Under the promo, customers won cash prizes of GHS8,000, GHS4,000, and GHS1,500, alongside others who received lifestyle rewards such as annual Spotify, Amazon Prime, and Netflix subscriptions.
Representatives from the National Lottery Authority (NLA) were present to ensure transparency in the draws. Sonia Apatu-Plange, Marketing Executive at NLA, reassured the public of the fairness of the process:
“It is our core mandate to ensure fairness, transparency, and integrity in the draws. Everything that has happened is genuine, and we urge the public to confidently join the Access family,” Ms Apatu-Plange noted.
She, however, encouraged greater awareness to minimise public scepticism, noting that some customers are often cautious due to the rise in fraudulent activities.
Eugenia Oduraa Addo, Head of SME Banking at Access Bank, further emphasised the dual focus of the promotion:
“The promo is in two folds, the Mass Retail and the Youth. The idea is to promote savings while encouraging the youth to migrate onto the digital space and use their cards more often. So far, we have rewarded about 84 customers, and the mega draw is just ahead,” she indicated, while encouraging “everyone to participate for a chance to win bigger rewards.”
The draws were supervised by officials from the Bank and the NLA, and witnessed by invited guests and media representatives.
