Sarkodie Explains Why Two Albums Temporarily Vanished from Streaming Platforms

Award-winning Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has clarified why two of his albums, Jamz and No Pressure, recently disappeared from major digital streaming services, sparking speculation among fans.

In an Instagram live session on September 1, 2025, the rapper assured followers that the disappearance was temporary and linked to a change in his music distribution partnership.

“So what is happening is we are doing a re-upload with a new distribution channel. We have a new partnership… it was supposed to be very smooth, but that couldn’t happen,” Sarkodie explained.

He noted that his team had to take the albums down to complete the transfer process, adding that the music was expected to be restored within hours. “I’m really pushing the team to get it back on. So don’t worry guys,” he assured fans.

Sarkodie dismissed rumors that the albums had been sold off or permanently removed, emphasizing that the move was a technical issue with the transition.

“It’s a thing that came from our side… moving from one distribution channel to the other. It was supposed to be smooth, but then it went down,” he added.

Fans are now waiting for the albums to be re-uploaded, with Sarkodie’s team promising their return to streaming platforms imminently.
