Stonebwoy reacts to Shatta Wale’s lamborghini seizure

Award-winning dancehall musician Stonebwoy has weighed in on the recent seizure of Shatta Wale’s 2019 Lamborghini Urus by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), saying the development did not come as a surprise to him.
Speaking in a recent YouTube interview, Stonebwoy hinted that he had long suspected there was more to the flashy acquisition.
“When you follow the news properly, me as a man we know the truth before the truth comes out. I made some revelations already before stuff got going on,” Stonebwoy said.
The comment has reignited an old remark Stonebwoy made in 2024, when Shatta Wale first announced the purchase.
In a media interview, Stonebwoy had described his colleague as a “settings man”, a Ghanaian slang term he explained as someone who “packages” situations to appear grander than they are.
“When I say a man is a settings man, him love to set up things… but it’s not the real situation,” Stonebwoy said, noting that as an “insider” in the industry, he has access to information the public does not.
The artiste noted that the local entertainment scene is filled with artistes who project wealth they cannot sustain.
“If you look it, if you flash it, it’s not everybody who can really have it or afford it. Many people want to flash it, but that news that is coming out…,” he added.
