Former Ghana midfielder Laryea Kingston shared a moment with France’s World Cup winner Paul Pogba and 2024/25 Europa League champion Kevin Danso during a training session in the United States.
Kingston, who is now based in the U.S. and works as a coach for RPS Academies, met the footballers while they trained ahead of the upcoming season.
Both players are preparing for the 2025/26 campaign—Danso, a Ghanaian-Austrian defender, recently signed a permanent deal with Tottenham Hotspur, while Pogba has been linked with a move to French giants AS Monaco.
“Activation session before pre-season with top players. Europa Cup winner Kevin Danso and Paul Pogba,” Kingston wrote in a social media post, sharing photos from the session.
The former Hearts of Oak and Lokomotiv Moscow winger joined RPS Academies in September 2024 following his departure as head coach of the Black Starlets.
Kingston had a remarkable career, representing Ghana in several major tournaments, including the Africa Cup of Nations.
He earned 41 caps for the Black Stars and scored six goals before retiring from international football in September 2016.
