Hearts coach Aboubakar Ouattara motivated for Super Clash against Kotoko

Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara is highly optmistic of his side’s chances as he prepares for the Super Clash against Asante Kotoko this Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Ouattara’s team have seen a mini resurgence after a slow start to the campaign, giving the Ivorian trainer confidence ahead of the trip to Kumasi.
He pointed to their strong performances at difficult away venues, including notable victories over Medeama in Tarkwa, Young Apostles, and Karela United, as well as a draw against Aduana in Dormaa. “Every time, we are motivated, and this season, we’ve played the hard matches before Kotoko. The venues which are difficult to get points, we made it,” Ouattara stated in an interview with 3Sports. “For the players, and for me particularly, we need to play well first of all and possibly get the three points, or bring one point. And still, now, we are ahead of them.”
Despite Kotoko winning the last three encounters between the two sides, Ouattara remains undeterred and firmly focused on victory. With Hearts of Oak sitting 6th on the league table with 19 points, just one point ahead of Kotoko, Ouattara’s team is beginning to find its rhythm after a slow start to the season. They have won three and drawn one of their last four matches, showing signs of improvement.
