Ibrahim Osman makes Feyenoord debut in four-goal thriller against Groninge

Ghana forward Ibrahim Osman was handed his Feyenoord debut on Saturday, September 14, 2024, coming on in the second half of the Eredivisie clash with Groningen.
The Black Stars winger joined the Dutch giants on loan from English Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion.
However, his debut was delayed due to the prolonged time in completing his paperwork.
Osman replaced Bart Nieuwkoop on the hour mark and was lively on the flanks, impressing on his first appearance for Feyenoord.
Meanwhile, a late brace from Brynjolfur Willumsson Andersen cancelled the visitors’ advantage as they returned home with a point.
Feyenoord took a first half lead through an own goal from Thom Van Bergen before Igor Paixao doubled the advantage with 19 minutes remaining.
Osman is expected to enjoy regular game time at the Dutch club before returning to England next summer to start his career with Brighton in the English league.
He joined the Premier League outfit in the summer transfer window on a long-term deal from Danish club FC Nordsjaelland.
