Barcelona announce signing of Ghanaian teen Aziz Issah

Spanish giants Barcelona have announced the signing of talented Ghanaian forward Aziz Issah.
The Black Satellites forward joins the Spanish club’s reserve side Barca Atletic on a season-long loan deal from Dreams FC. Barcelona have the option of making the deal a permanent one at the end of the season.
“Barcelona and the Ghanaian Dreams FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Abdul Aziz Issah to Barça Atlètic for one season, until June 30, 2025. The agreement includes a purchase option at the end of the season for at the Blaugrana club. The player will travel to Barcelona in the coming days to join the team led by Albert Sánchez,” wrote Barcelona, confirming the deal.
Issah, who was named one of CAF’s top young talents, made headlines last season with his remarkable performance in the CAF Confederation Cup.
He scored four goals and provided two assists in ten matches, leading Dreams FC to a historic semi-final, narrowly missing out to Egyptian giants Zamalek.
In the Ghana Premier League, Issah contributed significantly with 17 goal involvements, seven goals and ten assists. He also excelled in the FA Cup, scoring four goals in five games.
On the international stage, Issah played a crucial role in Ghana’s U20 team, which won gold at the Africa Games.
Having risen through Dreams FC’s youth ranks, including stints at Still Believe and In God We Trust FC, Issah’s move to Barcelona marks a significant milestone for the club.
