Ajax interested in loan move for Ghana forward Kamaldeen Sulemana

Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam have reached an agreement to sign Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana on loan, according to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.

The Ghanaian forward, who has struggled since moving to England to join Southampton, could be handed a lifeline in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Although most transfer windows in Europe have closed, the Dutch one remains open until midnight, and Ajax are keen to strengthen their squad with Kamaldeen on their radar.

The deal is expected to be a loan move with an option to buy.

However, the transfer hinges on Ajax’s Dutch forward Steve Bergwijn securing a move away from the club, with Saudi side Al-Ittihad showing interest.

While Southampton and Ajax have agreed on the terms, personal negotiations between Sulemana and the Dutch club are ongoing.

Sulemana is currently recovering from an injury and has yet to feature for Southampton since their return to the English Premier League.
