Black Stars winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has described his first game in the English Premier League as amazing after starring for Leicester City in the game against Tottenham Hotspurs.
The 20-year-old forward, who joined the Foxes on a permanent deal in the summer transfer window, started and lasted the entire duration as Leicester shared the spoils with Spurs.
Issahaku’s brilliant delivery just before the hour mark found Jamie Vardy for the equalizer, cancelling an early first-half strike from former Sporting Lisbon teammate Pedro Porro.
“It was Amazing making my Premier League debut last night. Great effort from the lads and an amazing atmosphere from the fans. Come on foxes, we are in this together,” an excited Issahaku posted on Instagram.
The Ghana international will play a significant role in Steve Cooper’s team this season as the Foxes set sights on staying in the Premier League.
Leicester City will travel to the Craven Cottage for their second game against Fulham on Saturday, August 24, 2024.’’
