NPP-UK, YEF raise £1.2m to support Dr Bawumia’s campaign

The United Kingdom (UK) branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), in collaboration with the Young Executives Forum (YEF), has raised approximately £1.2 million to support the campaign of the Vice -President and NPP presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, ahead of the 7 December 2024 general elections.

This record-breaking amount was raised during a fundraising dinner dance held on Saturday, 22 June 2024, at the Landmark Hotel in Central London.
This fundraising achievement marks the highest amount ever raised by the NPP-UK branch for an election campaign, surpassing previous records of $150,000 for the Akufo-Addo campaign in 2016 and $450,000 in 2020.
The significant financial support reflects the strong faith and commitment of the NPP-UK and YEF in Dr. Bawumia’s vision for Ghana.
