We’re committed to protecting your interests – Trasacco assures homeowners, investors

Trasacco Estates Development Company Limited has assured homeowners as well as the general public that calm has been restored at its Tema Springs serviced plots development near the Tema–Accra motorway stretch in the Greater Accra Region, following unlawful demolitions of properties owned by its clients.

Speaking at a press conference held in Accra on Friday, 26 September 2025, Kwame Owusu Danso, Corporate Affairs and Legal Director of Trasacco Group, provided an update on recent events at the development.

He confirmed that the Ghana Police Service has identified suspects involved in the illegal acts, issued invitations for questioning, and is actively pursuing those who have fled the jurisdiction.

“We condemn this criminality in the strongest terms and are cooperating fully with the authorities to ensure justice is served,” said Mr Owusu Danso.

He further addressed misinformation surrounding the incident, stating that the Office of the National Chief Imam confirmed no authorisation was given for claims involving His Eminence. Trasacco has also contacted the Presidency to verify reports of alleged military involvement and is awaiting a response.

Mr Owusu Danso reaffirmed the legitimacy of the Tema Springs project, noting that Trasacco lawfully acquired the 270.1-acre land from the Tema Development Corporation (TDC) in 2004, with a lease formalised in November 2012.

For over a decade, the company has developed the land, enabling peaceful occupation for clients. Access to essential facilities, including a school for students, remains fully open and uninterrupted.

“We urge all stakeholders to remain calm and trust in the rule of law as we work with the authorities to resolve this matter swiftly,” Mr Owusu Danso added.

Trasacco Estates Development Company Limited also thanked stakeholders for their continued confidence in the company and reiterated its commitment to protecting client interests and delivering quality serviced plots.
