Kudus was our biggest spark against Palace- David Moyes

West Ham United manager, David Moyes, lauded the performance of Ghana Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus, describing him as the “biggest spark” in their recent 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace.

Kudus, who joined West Ham from Ajax Amsterdam, scored his fifth goal in all competitions for the team in the match.

In a post-game interview, Moyes expressed his admiration for Kudus’ performance, highlighting the midfielder’s impact on the pitch.

Kudus found the back of the net in the 13th minute, showcasing his goal-scoring prowess.

Despite Odsonne Edouard’s equalizer in the 53rd minute, Kudus stood out as a bright spot for West Ham.

Moyes specifically praised Kudus for causing problems for Crystal Palace’s Tyrick Mitchell, acknowledging the Ghanaian international as the team’s brightest spark.

The Right To Dream Academy product’s goal and overall performance were instrumental in West Ham’s display during the match.

While Kudus was happy with his goal, he expressed disappointment over the team’s inability to secure all three points.

Nevertheless, his notable contribution did not go unnoticed by Moyes, who recognized Kudus as a key player in the squad.

Currently ranked ninth, West Ham is set to face Tottenham Hotspurs on Thursday, December 7, at 20:15 GMT.
