Letshego Ghana Post GHS 71m Profit Year-on-Year

Letshego Ghana Savings and Loans delivered robust third-quarter results for 2025, posting a profit of GHS 71 million, a 14.5% year-on-year increase from the GHS 62 million recorded in the same period last year.

The firm’s total assets expanded by GHS 134 million to reach GHS 1.75 billion, supported mainly by higher cash holdings and increased loans to customers. As of September 2025, cash and bank balances totalled GHS 263 million, while outstanding loans rose to GHS 1.43 billion.

Customer deposits grew significantly by 86% to GHS 669 million, strengthening the company’s funding base. Total liabilities increased to GHS 1.38 billion, while shareholders’ equity stood at approximately GHS 370 million.

Letshego’s capital adequacy ratio of 20.4% remains comfortably above the regulatory threshold, reflecting continued financial resilience despite a slight decline from last year’s 23%. However, the non-performing loan ratio edged up to 14.1% from 13%, indicating a mild uptick in credit risk exposure as loan quality softened in a cautious lending environment.
