Thomas Partey joins Arsenal teammates in Dubai for warm-weather camping

Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey was part of the Arsenal squad that travelled to Dubai for a brief warm-weather training camp. The Gunners took advantage of their inactivity in the fourth round of the FA Cup to fly to the United Arab Emirates to enjoy the warmth of the Middle East.

Manager Mikel Arteta and the physical trainers of the club took the players through intensive drills as they keep them fit ahead of their return to England for the business end of the campaign.

Arsenal suffered third round elimination in the FA Cup and left for Dubai following their defeat in the semi-final of the Carabao Cup to Newcastle United.

However, their 5-1 thrashing of Manchester City has boosted their Premier League title-winning ambition. The London giants are also through to the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

Arsenal will face Leicester City on Saturday in the Premier League as they keep the pressure on league leaders Liverpool.
