Kotoko coach Prosper Ogum hails captain Justice Blay

Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has hailed the leadership qualities of midfielder Justice Blay at the club.
Ogum, who is impressed with Blay’s work ethics for the Porcupine Warriors has poured massive praise on him.
The 32-year-old defensive midfielder has impressive for the Porcupine Warriors, who currently sit top of the Premier League standings after 18 matches.
Blay has made 14 appearances, missing only four games in the domestic top-flight campaign.
The experienced midfielder only goal this season was against Karela United at the weekend. He stepped up to convert a penalty to secure maximum points for the Porcupine Warriors at the Baba Yara Stadium. According to Ogum, Blay has been the driven force for the Porcupine Warriors considering his leadership qualities.
“In terms of leadership, we all know Blay and in terms of performance, he is always there. His positioning and repositioning is fantastic. He brings stability, confidence and some drive to the team”
“I’m happy for him. As a leader, these are some of the qualities you exhibit. He is giving the team a lot of resource. We all have to rally behind him as supporters, and technical staff so he doesn’t become complacent. He is giving us a top level performance” he said.
Asante Kotoko will travel to face Nsoatreman FC in matchday 19 of the Ghana Premier League this weekend.
