Hearts coach unhappy after Aduana Stars defeat

Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara is disappointed with his side’s performance in their 1-0 loss to Aduana Stars.
The Phobians entered the match with high momentum, following their 3-0 thrashing of Berekum Chelsea in their previous fixture in the Ghana Premier League.
However, the Dormaa-based side scored early in the game and managed to secure all three points.
After the disappointing result, Ouattara voiced his displeasure with his players’ performance, particularly criticizing their failure to test the opponent’s goalkeeper with shots.
This lack of offensive threat left the coach frustrated as Hearts of Oak failed to build on their previous success.
“We have played badly. We don’t have any motivation today. I don’t understand what happened…very difficult. But these boys, I can’t understand them,” Ouattara said.
“Today you are good, tomorrow you are bad. I don’t understand what happened.
“But today is a very bad game. I don’t have anything to say. Very bad game.
“You play 90 minutes without any shot at the goalkeeper. To be serious, I’m not happy.”
Hearts of Oak find themselves sitting just five points clear of the relegation zone with four games remaining this season.
Their next match is a crucial encounter against rivals Asante Kotoko.
With the stakes high, the Phobians will need to significantly improve their performance to secure their top-flight status and end the season on a positive note.
