15 Stocks Gain on GSE in June

Fifteen stocks recorded price gains on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) in June 2026, extending the market’s strong performance despite declines recorded by nine listed companies.
Intravenous Infusions PLC emerged as the month’s biggest gainer, with its share price rising by 125 percent. It was followed by Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, which gained 63.31 percent, while Kasapreko PLC recorded a 56.67 percent increase.
Other notable gainers included Clydestone (Ghana) PLC, which rose by 44.61 percent, SIC Insurance Company PLC by 20.20 percent, and TotalEnergies Marketing Ghana PLC by 20 percent.
Access Bank Ghana PLC gained 15.58 percent, while GCB Bank PLC increased by 13.48 percent. Meridian Marshals Holding Company also recorded a 10 percent gain.
The remaining gainers were Cocoa Processing Company PLC, up 8.33 percent; CalBank PLC, 6.85 percent; First Atlantic Bank PLC, 5.40 percent; Société Générale Ghana PLC, 4.61 percent; Atlantic Lithium Limited, 3.17 percent; and Fan Milk PLC, which recorded a marginal 0.15 percent increase.
However, nine stocks recorded losses during the month.
Ecobank Ghana PLC was the biggest decliner, falling by 29.85 percent, followed by Guinness Ghana Breweries PLC, which dropped by 18.71 percent. Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC declined by 15.58 percent.
Other losers included NewGold, down 7.95 percent; Benso Palm Plantation PLC, 6.44 percent; Ghana Oil Company PLC, 5.42 percent; Zen Petroleum Holdings PLC, 4.18 percent; Scancom PLC, 1.38 percent; and Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC, which declined by 0.53 percent.
The broader market maintained its strong momentum, with the GSE Composite Index and the Financial Stock Index recording returns of 67.89 percent and 77.94 percent, respectively.
Trading activity also increased significantly. The Exchange recorded 161,125 transactions during the month, representing a 606.78 percent increase compared with the same period in 2025.
The Ghana Fixed Income Market (GFIM) also recorded strong growth, closing June with a trading volume of GH¢44.89 billion, representing a 280.48 percent increase year-on-year.
Cumulatively, the year-to-date volume traded reached GH¢220.90 billion, more than double the GH¢108.23 billion recorded during the corresponding period last year.
Treasury bills accounted for 46.08 percent of total fixed-income trading, while government notes and bonds contributed 52.31 percent. Corporate bonds accounted for the remaining 1.61 percent of the market’s total trading volume.
