Doreen Andoh to receive Lifetime Achievement Award at Ghana DJ Awards

Veteran Ghanaian radio personality, Doreen Andoh, will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, organised by Merqury Republic and powered by Smirnoff.

The announcement coincides with the release of the 2025 nominees list, celebrating the country’s finest DJs, MCs, and music collaborators.

Dubbed Africa’s Biggest DJ Night, the ceremony will be held on Saturday, 29 November 2025, at 7 PM at the Palms Convention Centre in Accra.

Now in its 13th year, the event continues to recognise excellence in DJ culture while honouring pioneers who have shaped Ghana’s entertainment scene.

The veteran radio personality, affectionately known as the ‘Queen of the Airwaves,’ is being recognised for her trailblazing career spanning over two decades. As one of Ghana’s most respected radio personalities, her work has inspired countless broadcasters and DJs.

The award celebrates her enduring impact, professionalism, and contribution to the evolution of Ghanaian media.
