Kelvin Ofori Signs for Slovak Champs Slovan Bratislava

Ghanaian forward Kelvin Ofori has completed a move to Slovakian giants ŠK Slovan Bratislava on a three-year deal from league rivals Spartak Trnava.
The graduate of Ghana’s Right to Dream Academy enjoyed an impressive season with Trnava, shining in both the domestic league and European competitions.
Ofori made 28 league appearances last season, scoring nine goals and playing a key role in Spartak Trnava’s successful campaign, which included two Slovak Cup titles.
Despite attracting interest from several European clubs during the summer transfer window, the 23-year-old opted to join Slovan Bratislava, who will compete in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers next season.
“I am attracted to European football. I long for victories and trophies,” Ofori said after signing. “One of the key factors in my decision was a conversation with the head coach. We talked about where he sees me within Slovan. It was important for me to hear, and it sounded very interesting. I am happy to be here and ready to start a new chapter.” The former Fortuna Düsseldorf attacker becomes Slovan’s first signing of the summer, as the club prepares for both domestic and continental competitions.
