Fidelity Bank’s ‘Wheels and Homes Expo 2025’ empowers car and home ownership
Fidelity Bank Ghana, the country’s largest privately-owned Ghanaian bank, successfully concluded its groundbreaking ‘Wheels and Homes Expo 2025’ last Saturday, June 21, at the Ghud Park, Accra Mall.
The three-day event brought together industry leaders, real estate developers, auto dealers, insurance providers, and financing experts, creating a comprehensive platform designed to help Ghanaians overcome the challenges of car and home ownership.
With over 70 percent of Ghanaians aspiring to own homes or reliable vehicles, but facing significant barriers such as housing deficits, high vehicle costs, and financing difficulties, the Expo addressed a critical market need. The event offered visitors a one-stop-shop experience, allowing attendees to explore property options, compare vehicle models, secure on-the-spot financing pre-approvals, and engage with experts from real estate, auto, and insurance sectors.
Nana Esi Idun-Arkhurst, Divisional Director of Retail and Business Banking at Fidelity Bank, emphasized the bank’s commitment to empowering individuals and families through the Expo.
“We understand that for many Ghanaians, the journey to owning a home or a car is a deeply personal and often challenging one. This Expo goes beyond transactions; it’s about being a genuine partner in our customers’ life milestones and contributing to national development,” she stated.
The event featured a diverse range of auto partners, including leading names such as Svani Limited, Hyundai Motors, Honda Ghana, Toyota Ghana, and Grace Mobility Ghana (EV), among others.
On the real estate front, prominent developers such as Waylead Developers (Alphabet City), Green Opal Estate, Apollonia City Estate, and Black Rock Properties showcased their latest projects. Insurance providers like Prudential, Sanlam Allianz, and Enterprise Insurance also participated, ensuring buyers had access to vital protection services.
Through competitive mortgage rates, extended loan tenures, and tailored payment plans, Fidelity Bank facilitated smoother access to financing, helping visitors navigate the often-complex processes of purchasing homes and vehicles.
The ‘Wheels and Homes Expo 2025’ not only demystified the ownership process but also underscored Fidelity Bank’s role as a key enabler of economic empowerment and improved quality of life for Ghanaians.
