Access Bank PLC has climaxed its “Fa Ketewa Bɛgye Kɛseɛ” savings promotion with a grand finale that rewarded loyal customers across the country.
The grand finale, held at Access Bank’s head office in Accra on Thursday, December 4, marked the sixth draw of a campaign aimed at promoting consistent saving and supporting customers through challenging economic times.
The promo, which ran for six months, featured four mini draws and a mega draw before leading to the ultimate finale.
Throughout the period, customers who made regular deposits won various prizes, reinforcing the message that small savings can lead to big opportunities.
The initiative became a source of relief for many customers who used their savings to manage school fees, rent, household needs, and other financial obligations.
The grand finale brought the excitement to its peak as customers accross the country stood the chance of winning cash prizes of GHC15,000, GHC30,000, and GHC50,000.
In the youth category, Access Bank rewarded young savers with items such as an iPhone 16 Pro Max, a Chromebook and a PlayStation, prizes selected to match the creativity and ambition of young customers.
Mr. Edward Nelson-Addy, Head of Corporate Communication, highlighted that the bank ran the promo to build a strong culture of saving among customers.
He noted that Access Bank worked closely with partners to ensure fairness, transparency and credibility throughout all six draws.
“Standing here today feels like watching a story reach its final chapter, a chapter written by thousands of customers who saved with intention, with determination, and with trust in Access Bank Ghana.
Every deposit, whether modest or substantial, added momentum to this promo,” he said.
He added that the bank’s2 focus was to encourage customers to adopt consistent saving habits while assuring them of Access Bank’s commitment to helping them grow stronger financially.
Mr. Nelson-Addy described the promotion as a journey built on customer loyalty, saving discipline, and shared belief in financial progress.
Akua Serwaa Adu Darko, a representative of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), said the Authority’s main role in the promo was to ensure fairness, transparency and credibility throughout the entire draw process.
Madam Adu Darko explained that Access Bank submitted all customer data for verification ahead of each draw, after which the NLA carefully reviewed the entries to remove anything that did not meet the required standards.
She noted that the draw itself did not sit with Access Bank. Instead, the NLA took full control, using its own systems and equipment to conduct the selection of winners. This, she said, prevented bias and guaranteed a clean and trustworthy outcome.
She added that she personally had no connection to Access Bank customers, making her role completely neutral.
To assure the public of the authenticity of the results, some winners were contacted live during the event. This allowed the audience to confirm that real customers were being selected through a transparent process.
Akua Serwaa Adu Darko emphasized that every stage of the promo followed agreed procedures to ensure that participants received exactly what the promotion promised.
Winners of the GHC30,000 and GHC50,000 prizes, who were not present at the venue, expressed surprise and delight when they received phone calls informing them of their victory.
