Abdul Mumin powers Rayo Vallecano to victory with stunner against Osasuna

Black Stars defender Abdul Mumin delivered a stunning, striker-like finish in Rayo Vallecano’s 3-1 victory over Osasuna on Monday night.
Mumin’s thunderous goal was the highlight of the match, helping Rayo snap a poor run of results.
The centre-back ventured forward and, despite being at an awkward angle, unleashed a powerful left-footed strike that flew past the goalkeeper, sparking Rayo’s comeback at the Estadio de Vallecas.
His goal shifted the momentum, with Rayo adding two more through Andrei Ratiu and Unai Lopez.
This marked Mumin’s second goal contribution of the season, surpassing his tally from the previous campaign, where he also assisted in Rayo’s opener.
His confidence continues to grow, undeterred by a recent mistake during Ghana’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola.
Mumin’s aggressive and assured performances are proving valuable for Rayo, a club often battling to stay in La Liga.
