The Black Stars of Ghana have arrived in Luanda ahead of their crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola set for Friday evening.
The team left Ghana after three intensive training sessions in Accra and arrived safely in the Angolan capital on Wednesday night.
The Black Stars head into the penultimate match sitting third in Group F with two points from four games, trailing Angola and Sudan in the standings.
Ghana needs a great performance and win against the group leaders to keep their AFCON hopes alive.
They are scheduled to hold their final training at Estadio 11 de Novembro in Luanda on Thursday evening at 8 p.m. local time.
Angola, who have already qualified for AFCON 2025, tops Group F with 12 points, maintaining an unbeaten record in the qualifiers.
They lead Ghana by 10 points and hold a five-point advantage over Sudan, who sits in second place. A draw or win for Sudan against Niger will confirm their qualification and Black Stars will be out of contention.
